- An original Haveston Straps pattern design: Haveston's original launch design, based on the distinctive striped paint scheme applied to Allied aircraft on the eve of the D-Day invasion.
PATTERN/ PAIRING:
On the eve of the D-Day invasion in 1944, ground crews were given only a few hours notice to paint stripes onto the fuselage and wings of Allied aircraft for recognition purposes. These distinct alternating markings have come to be known as "Invasion Stripes".
LAYOUT:
A re-engineered one-piece watch strap layout outfitted with Haveston's signature secondary floating keeper, which allows the spare tail to be stowed without the need for folding back (unless desired), and repositioned 7 o¡¦clock buckle to deliver greater comfort and enhanced aesthetics. As part of Haveston's ongoing commitment to continuous refinement, Haveston 'A2' (Alteration 2) straps are also equipped with a single-pass layout for a streamlined wearing profile and reduced "off-wrist" height while retaining the security of a one-piece layout to protect against spring-bar failure.
